Treatments

The Genuine dermaroller is from AesthetiCare.

One of the latest innovations in skin treatments is dermal rolling. Genuine Dermaroller Therapy provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a procedure which stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself by stimulating the wound healing process, which along with the topical application of the required vitamins, is a safe natural way of renewing the skin and creating brighter healthier, younger looking skin. The rolling increases the overall health of the skin including skin tightening, reduction of UV damage, permanent diffused redness, uneven skin tone ,pore size and helps to prevent and reverse fine lines and wrinkles. It accomplishes these results through allowing greater absorption of required cell nutrients and release of growth factors to optimize cell function. The skin will look clearer, brighter and more youthful. The face, neck, décolleté (cleavage) are the most popular areas treated but any area of the body can benefit from dermal rolling treatments if the skin is compromised.

ACNE SCARS

The mechanical breakdown of the scars allows for new natural wound healing cascade which produces the specific growth factors required for remodelling of the scar tissue. Treatments required will depend on the severity of scarring. Pitted scarring can be treated individually with the “dermastamp” prior to dermal rolling to help improve results.

STRETCH MARK TREATMENTS

Stretch marks caused by prolonged skin distension due to pregnancy or weight gain can also be greatly improved with Dermal rolling. A one off treatment can give good results for rejuvenation however acne scars and stretch marks will require a minimum of three treatments. The results of the treatment will be fully apparent after 6 weeks and the appearance of the skin will continue to improve over a long period.

DERMAL FILLERS

As facial skin ages, there is a gradual loss of resiliency of the elastic fibres and a loss of structural integrity of collagen fibres. The underlying fatty tissue depletes creating deep folds, wrinkles and loose skin. Hyaluronic acid a natural occurring gel abundant in the skin, also depletes with age contributing to loss of volume, lines and wrinkles. Other factors including poor diet, sun damage, stress and lack of sleep can accelerate the aging process making us look tired, gaunt and sometimes looking 10 years older for which for some people can lower their self-esteem and affect their feeling of well-being, especially in the workplace when surrounded by more youthful colleagues competing for jobs. At Liebe Aesthetics we can partially reverse the aging process by giving nature a helping hand to restore some of the volume lost using dermal fillers to plump out and smooth those deep lines and grooves helping you to regain confidence in your appearance. Re-contour, re-define and augment the cheek, chin and cheekbone areas. Using Juverderm Voluma.

Anti-Wrinkling Treatments (Botulinum toxin A) or simply “BOTOX”

Facial Lines are caused by the repeated use of the facial muscles used in facial expressions such as frowning and smiling and are more prominent in some people than others. These lines (Dynamic lines), such as crow’s feet around the eyes, are brought on by the muscles, and will disappear when the muscle relaxes. Over time these lines will become static in that they will be there even at rest and possibly become deeper especially in the frown and forehead. For some people the frowning with deep furrows and lines spoil the serenity and beauty of the face. Results are usually a younger looking and smoother appearance from this treatment, one of the most popular in the world. Botulinum toxin A is a purified protein used for cosmetic injections to block the nerve transmission to the muscle which inactivates the muscle contraction preventing the frowning and movement which causes the wrinkles. The static lines will also soften and be less pronounced. The procedure takes about 15 minutes and the red dots caused by the injections usually disappear in about an hour. The effect can start to be noticed after 2 or 3 days but will not be fully in place till 10 to 14 days. The effect will normally last from 3 to 5 months depending on the individual. A medical assessment prior to Botulinum toxin A injections is always carried out to ensure you are suitable for this treatment. You will be given an appointment to return after 2 weeks for a review.

AXILLARY HYPERHIDROSIS (EXCESSIVE SWEATING)

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, is a condition that can affect both men and women and occurs when the sweat glands produce more than the regular sweat needed to regulate body temperature. It can occur in the armpits the palms of the hands or over the whole body. Excessive sweating under the arms although not a disease can have negative effects. Problems such as social integration, unpleasant smells or unsightly wet patches under arms can affect people. This can lead to feelings of low self-esteem and confidence when mixing with other people. It is usually more of a problem in the summer period during hot weather. Botulinum toxin A treatment (Botox) is commonly used to treat axillary hyperhidrosis and is carried out at Liebe Aesthetics for men and women. The toxin is injected with a very small thin needle into several points under the arm covering the entire area. Transmission of the nerve impulses to the sweat glands is blocked, leading to inhibition of sweating. The treatments takes up to 30 minutes and lasts for approximately 6 months or more. A medical assessment is carried out prior to treatment to establish suitability
